Giovanni M. “John” Avellino, 43, of Lancaster passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015. He was born on August 13, 1971 in Cambridge, England. John was preceded in death by grandmother; Anna Cirillo, niece; Giuseppa Avellino and brother-in-law; Nick Davis. He is survived by his wife; Ruth (Davis) Avellino, son; John Anthony James Avellino, his mother; Giuseppa “Josie” Hatfield, siblings; Maria (Donny) Ridlon, Luigi (Tanya) Avellino, Mike Avellino, Joshua (Jessica) Davis and Matthew (Danielle) Horn, grandparents; Domenico Cirillo, Ted (Barb) Davis, Herbert (Garnett) Horn, In-laws; Toni (Jeff) Smith and Sam (Jodi) Horn, and by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends and family. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at noon at the Wellman Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Davis officiating burial will follow in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at noon.
