Gladys Alexander

Gladys Alexander, 80, of Washington C.H. passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at her daughter’s residence. She was born on January 25, 1929 in Bloomingburg to Edward and Stella (Stewart) Gray. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dearl Alexander, one son, Howard “Hawk” Johns and by five brothers.
Mrs. Alexander is survived by her children, William Johns and Gloria Simmons both of Washington C.H., one brother, Rev. Howard Gray, one sister, Helen Logan both of Washington C.H. and by several grand, great grand, great, great grandchildren and by one special nephew.
Funeral services for Mrs. Alexander will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wellman-Kinzer Funeral Home with burial to follow in Bloomingburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
