Glen Jack Heeter, 98, of Circleville, died March 15, 2009 at Brown Memorial. He was born November 15, 1910 in Jackson Twp., the son of Pete and Anna (Wilson) Heeter. He was a Circleville High School graduate, member of the drama and music dept., U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of WWII, member of Community United Methodist Church, Elks Lodge 77, Elks singers & Minor Chords, Amercian Legion Post 134 and owner of the Wishing Well and Jacks Tavern. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Steven Heeter; brothers, Clarence, Avery “Bill” and Hershel and sisters, Betty and Prida. He is survived by his wife, Mary Florene (Schafer) Heeter; grandchildren, Jack and Scott Heeter and great grandchildren, Nick, Zack, Cody, Cory and Alexandria. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday March 18, 2009 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastor Barry Burns officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery with Amvets graveside honors. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hands for Disabled.
