Gloria Vangundy

Gloria L. VanGundy, 82, of Circleville passed away on May 17, 2016. She was born on June 22, 1933 in Williamsport to Kenneth and Ethel (Bloomfield) Jacobs. She was a Girl Scout Leader and had worked for Pickaway County Board of Developmental Disabilities. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Robert VanGundy Jr. and siblings; Joanne VanGundy, Carolyn Jacobs and Ronald Jacobs. Gloria is survived by her children; Jeffrey (Donna) VanGundy, Kathy (Jake Carrel) Moore, Joy (Mike) Kerek, grandchildren; Tanda and Robbie Moore, Kimberly (Eric) West, Denise VanGundy, Jacob (Jordan) VanGundy, great grandchildren; Chloe Jane, Josie Marie, Wyatt, Hayden and by sisters; Jane Jacobs and Marilyn (Joe) Norris. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow at New Holland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Pickaway County Special Olympics 200 East High Street, Circleville, Ohio 43113.
