Grace C. Baumgarner Lochbaum Boyer, born June 21, 1917, passed away on May 12, 2011, the daughter of Dorsey and Ida Baumgarner. She attended Franklin Street School in Circleville until the 5th grade, than moved to Jackson Twp. where she graduated from on May 17, 1935. On September 11, 1935 she was united in marriage to Montford Lochbaum, who passed away on March 11, 1984, after 48 years and 16 months of marriage. She worked at GC Murphy Co., as a clerk and then in the office at Winorr Canning Co. in Circleville. Moved to Ross County and worked at Hernstein Hardware and S.S. Kresgee. Then in the fall of 1962, she worked at Harrison Twp. School in Ross County from where she retired in July, 1977. Grace loved to work in the church. She played piano and sang. She taught Sunday school for approximately 40 years. On December 21, 1966, she and Rev. Alva Boyer of Circleville were united in marriage until his passing on May 31, 2006. Her son, Clyde H. Lochbaum also preceded her in death on August 29, 2010. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Pollie Lochbaum; 5 grandchildren, Tim (Renee) Lochbaum, Michelle (Dennie) Lochbaum Evans, Gina (Rodney) Wellman, Vicki (Mike) Untied and William David Buskirk, II; 5 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren and sister, Mary Walker of Circleville. Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Monday May 16, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday.
