Harold Hill

Harold E. “Sandy” Hill, 80, of Circleville, died October 15, 2010 at his residence. He was born August 22, 1930 in Circleville, the son of Charles and Myrtle (Smith) Hill. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, member of the Bible Baptist Church in Lancaster, retired for E.I. Dupont and did masonry work on the side. He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers and 5 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Donna (Ragland) Hill; children, Sonja Scott, Roger (Gail) Hill, Bonnie (Warren) Ragland, Keith (Bobby Jo Carter) Hill, Norma (Terry) Berry, Mary Carlisle (Doug), Joseph Carlisle (Paula), Melanie (Chris) Mays and Debra (Charlie) Hughes; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brother, Paul (Charlotte) Hill; sisters, Effie Fletcher and Elizabeth Jones and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday October 19, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Rev. Roy Maple, Chaplain Jim Ferrell and Rev. James Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery with military graveside honors. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
