Harold L. Lambert, 75 lost his battle with cancer on Sunday August 17, 2008 while residing at Sunbridge Care. He was born in Madison County on March 3, 1933 and spent his life living and working in Madison, Hocking and Pickaway Counties. Since 1975, Harold was a self-employed carpenter. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and watching the Cincinnati Reds. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara (Carson) Lambert of Circleville; daughters, Katherine (Fred) Wagner and Darlene (Keith) Ebert of Laurelville; grandchildren, Tom (Ronjalee) and Meghan Wagner, Mindy and Nick Ebert; great grandchildren, Quinton and Kirsten Wagner; brothers, Chester of Ada, OH, Clyde of Chillicothe and Robert of Columbus; sister, Dorothy (Nye) Greene of Columbus; special sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Bill Jones of Big Plain, OH; several nieces and nephews; honorary grandchildren, Shane, Becky, Megan and Carly Karshner of Whisler and special puppy, Sadie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Ioma (Hix) Lambert; 2 granddaughters, Shellie Eitel and Samantha Wagner; sisters and brothers, Betty (Wilbur) Wright, Faye Buck, Fred, Wayne, Virginia, Mary Ann and Margaret Jane Lambert. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Palmer and staff, Dr. Jain and his wonderful staff, Sunbridge for the care and compassion shown to him and to all the kind wonderfully people at Berger Hospice. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday August 20, 2008 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Private internment services will be held at a later date.
