Harold Richard Rhymer, 91, of Circleville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Berger Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on November 20, 1923 in Fairfield County to George and Jeanette (Conrad) Rhymer. Richard retired from the Kroger Company in Circleville after 26 years. He was also a milk truck driver for Pickaway Dairy and a bus driver for Stoutsville School. Richard and his wife fostered and cared for many children with much love. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife; Violet (Morrison) Rhymer, sisters; Cleo Good, Pauline Pearce, Viola Hartranft by an infant sister; Evelyn Marie, brothers; J.D. and Charles Ray and by granddaughter; Shea Violet. Richard is survived by daughter; Venita (Jim) Daft of Stoutsville, sons; Leewood (Deborah) Rhymer of Circleville, Jeffrey Rhymer of Columbus, grandchildren; Tiera (Sam) Davidson, Larissa Gragg, Lorraine, Lincoln (Christa), Logan, Jordan (Tia), Kelsi, Hannah, Jonah, Justin, Mariah and Joshua, 7 great grandchildren, sisters; Marcella Arledge, Catherine Hartley both of Stoutsville, brother; Merle of Amanda. A celebration of life will be held Monday, April 27, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Wellman Funeral Home with Pastors Jay Neff and Kevin Behrer officiating. Burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Richards name to Circleville First Church of Christ in Christian Union.
