Harold Tener

Harold A. Tener, 76, of Circleville passed away on August 10, 2016. He was born on August 26, 1939 in Circleville to Harold and Naomi (Hatfield) Tener. He retired from the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Harold was a member of Crossroads Church, Pickaway County Camp of Gideons International and was an adult leader for Boy Scouts of America. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son; Mark Tener, granddaughter; Sarah Imler and by father-in-law; George Clark. Harold is survived by his wife; Ruth Ann (Clark) Tener, children; Timothy (Rebecca) Tener, Rebekah (Phil) Imler, daughter-in-law; Sandra Tener, extended family; Romayne and Charles Martindale, grandchildren; Christopher and Brooke Tener, Elisha, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Malachi and Andrew Martindale, sisters; Glenda (M. James) Kramer and N. Jean Tener, and by mother-in-law; Flo Ann Clark. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Crossroads Church. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wellman Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Gideons International.
