Helen Geesling

Helen A. Geesling, 72, of Washington Court House passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012 in Columbus. Her death was sudden and unexpected. On October 1, 1960 she married Ronald Geesling. She was born in Pickaway County on February 21, 1940 to Charles and Grace (Sollars) Brown. Mrs. Geesling was a cheerleader at Washington High School. She liked to quilt and crochet and especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Terry, Darrell and Ronald Brown and by her mother and father-in-law, Roy and Margery Geesling
Mrs. Geesling is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ronald Geesling of Washington C.H., children, Michele K. (Charles Dodds) Geesling, Ronette S. (David Cook) Geesling, two grandchildren, Adam and Carly Dodds, two brothers, Stan (Diane) Brown, Dwight (Sue) Brown, four sisters, Doris (Roger) Hayes, Glenna Milstead, Janice Bell, Gail (William) Forrest, her in-laws, Glenn (Rhona) Geesling, John J. Geesling, Helen Wissinger Brown and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Helen Geesling will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Wellman-Kinzer Funeral Home with burial to follow in Washington Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
