Helen I. Gunnell, 69, of Columbus, died January 23, 2012 at Columbus Colony. She was born May 31, 1942 in Muskingum County, the daughter of James and Helen (Julick) Rutter. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Durwood Gunnell; sisters, Gladys Slonaker and Elizabeth Potter. Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Friday January 27, 2012 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 until 12:00 noon Friday at the funeral home.
