We mourn the loss of our beloved mother,
sister, grandmother and great grandmother-
Helen Marguerite (Day) Williams-who
passed away at her home in Lancaster on
December 29,2013. She was an inspiration
and role model throughout our lives. Those
who knew her will miss her dearly; those
who did not missed the opportunity to know a
strong and remarkable woman. Helen was
the retired Treasurer of Whitehall City
Schools and in her retirement became an
avid bingo player, created beautiful
handmade quilts and loved her flower gardens.
She is preceded in death by her husband
Charles; her parents, Edward & Marguerite
Day; her sister Mary Belich; and two brothers,
William (Nig) Day and Matthew (Mac) Day.
She is survived by her three children-
Debra (David) McDaniel of Laurelville;
Charles (Samantha) Williams of
Circleville and Steven Williams of
Tallahassee, FL., and loving friends Randy
& Melinda Howells of Bexley; brothers
Thomas (Nancy) Day,James (Diane)
Day, Robert (Carol) Day, Richard (Donna)
Day and Edward (Lillian)Day,grandchildren
(Nicolette, Erin, Carson, Caitlyn, Nathaniel,
Angela, Larue, Leon, Adele, Steven,Linda,
Shawn, Jeremy) many great-grandchildren,
nieces, nephews and friends. Wewere blessed
to have this amazingwoman in our lives-
she will be loved and missed each day.
Arrangements are being heldby Wellman
Funeral Home, Laurelville. There will
be a private graveside for the
family.
