Hilda Smith

Hilda L. Smith, 73, of Circleville died Dec. 31, 2010 in Columbus. She was born Aug. 5, 1937 in Circleville, the daughter of Maurice and Hilda (Starkey) Francis. Hilda was retired from Sunoco. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas L. Smith and sister, Clara Parker. Hilda is survived by her children, Cheryl L. Smith and Thomas L. Smith II of Huntingdon, PA, grandchildren, Amber Lancelle and Talisha Smith, great-grandson, Damon Myers, brothers, George and Richard Francis of Florida, sisters, Shirley Huffer of Lancaster, Thelma Yaeger of Ashville, Nora Kitchen of Columbus and Susan Gudell of Texas, several nieces and nephews and special friends, Rick and Trevis Stallins. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011 at 11:00 am the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial following in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm. Family requests memorial contributions to the Humane Society.
