Hubert Handshey

Hubert E. Handshey, Jr., 74, of Circleville, passed away on August 19, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on May 4, 1947 in Columbus, the son of Hubert E. “Hube” and Ruby (Minchin) Handshey, Sr.  He was retired from J.C. Penny’s after 30 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Patrick.  He is survived by his wife, Ronna (Stebelton) Handshey; children, Todd (Chris), Laura Handshey and Kristina Handshey; step children, Gideon (Rayma) Grady and Chase (Amy) Grady; grandchildren, Todd Thomas Handshey, Tayler Handshey, Kayla Kemmerling, Alex Handshey, Alexis Herbst, Lillian Handshey and Alyssa Moore; step grandchildren, Bailey and Wyatt Grady; great grandson, Landyn Shaffer; sister, Carol Handshey and brother, Mark (Betty) Handshey.  Hubert enjoyed farming, gardening, fishing, woodworking and going to his cabin in Michigan.  He loved chocolate and pizza.  Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday August 24, 2021 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastor Heidi Holst officiating.  Burial will be in Amanda Twp.
