Hugh Bennett

Hugh Bennett, 94, of Circleville passed away on April 28, 2024.  He was born on August 6, 1929 in Columbus to Hugh and Mary Ann (Noble) Bennett.  He was retired from the State of Ohio where he worked in food service.  Hugh an Army veteran was a member of the Catholic Church.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Anthony “Tony” Bennett and by siblings John and Richard Bennett and Helen Lumbardi.  Hugh is survived by his children Patricia McKean and Catherine Carter; many grand and great grandchildren and by sister Cora Yoder.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 at noon at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Bloomingburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Friday from 10-12.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
