Irene Hixon

Irene L. Hixon, 71, of Circleville, died February 6, 2012 at her residence. She was born May 23, 1940 in Circleville, the daughter of Willard and Theodosia (Mertz) Crosby. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald R. “Dick” Hixon, Sr. and daughter, Melissa Hixon. She is survived by her children, Rich (Angela) Hixon, Scott A. (Cherie) Hixon, Rebecca L. Walker, William (Connie) Davis and Michael (Connie) Davis; 12 grandchildren; brother, Lloyd (Sharon) Crosby and sisters, Nevada Bond and Beulah Murphy. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be in Reber Hill Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements were completed by Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
