Irene Young

Irene Adams Young, 81, of Circleville, died November 11, 2013 at Genesis Healthcare. She was born on November 26, 1931 in Pickaway County the daughter of Homer and Highly Jane Adams. She graduated from Pickaway School Class of 1949, worked for General Electric for 7 years and for 13 years at Fishers Big Wheel until she retired and was a member of Circleville First Church of Christ in Christian Union, where she taught for over 30 years in the Beginners Dept every Sunday. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earsel Lee Young, granddaughter Tanya Stage, brothers and sisters-in-law, Homer and Yvonne, Don and Alma Jean, Russell and Katherine “Kitty”, Roy and Norma and Carl and Connie Adams. She is survived by her sons, Randy (Sue) Young of WCH and Rodney (Debbie) Young of Circleville; grandchildren, Bryan (Lauren) Young and Lynsey Young and Marci (Greg) Yourchuck and sister, Shirley (Ted) Raymond and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday November 16, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to First CCCU or Berger Hospice.
