Ivan Ray

Ivan Ray, 62, of Columbus died on Friday, June 20, 2014 in Columbus. He was born on April 9, 1952 in Circleville to Clarence and Virginia (Wilkins) Ray. He was a Navy veteran and was a member of Calvery Road Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Flossie Raub and Debbie Brown. Ivan is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia (Davis) Ray, children, Billy, Ivan (Melissa), Eric (Megan), Jackie (Shannon) Ray and Peggy Friley, grandchildren, Chelsea, Kodie, McKenzie, Victoria, Hayden, Natalie, Jackson, Olivia and Taylor and by siblings, Lee Wilkins, Darlene Ray, Harold (Tina) Brown and by many other family members. Patricia’s family never considered Ivan an in-law. He was loved by all as a son, brother and uncle. Special thanks to Patricia’s mom, Shirley Ramey-Humphrey Jordan for providing love and support to Ivan and Patricia. Funeral services will be held at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
