J. Darline Gose, born on August 6, 1953, entered eternal rest on December 12, 2024, surrounded by peace and love. She was the cherished daughter of Doyle and Joan Nye, who preceded her in death. Darline was also preceded in death by her first husband, Don Gose. She is lovingly remembered by her second husband, Rickey Withers; her son Craig (Laura) Gose of Canal Winchester; her daughter Kiera (Aaron) Yaniga of Circleville; and her treasured grandchildren Laila, Sophia, Zack, and Ethan Gose, as well as Ian and Caleb Yaniga. Her stepchildren Shauna (Jordan) Baumann and family Ashley (Kevin) Kelley and family, and Tyler Withers also hold her memory close to their hearts. Additionally, Darline is survived by her siblings Robert (Judy) Nye, Jim (Denise) Nye, and Mike Nye; her stepmother Jean Nye; and a large extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other who will deeply miss her presence. Darline enjoyed a fulfilling career at Nationwide Insurance before retiring. Alongside her first husband Don, she co-owned the Pumpkin Patch Farm Market. They were also the primary exhibitors at the Circleville Pumpkin Show for 40 years. A woman of unwavering faith, she was a devoted member of Circleville First Church and found great strength in her relationship with God. Her life was a testament to love, kindness, and service to others. Darline’s warmth and compassion touched all who knew her leaving an enduring legacy through her family and the countless lives she enriched. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the workers and volunteers of the Kobacker House for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Circleville First Church Operation Christmas Child fund. A viewing will be held at Wellman Funeral Home in Circleville on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will follow at Wellman Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jay Neff officiating.
