Jack Hughes

Jack L. Hughes, 84, of Circleville, OH, died January 5, 2013 at Berger Hospital. He was born January 9, 1928 in Weston, WV the son of Isaac and Lena (Limer) Hughes. He was a U.S. Army veteran, worked at Owens- Illinois and was a bagger at Krogers for 22 years, member of Aladdin Shrine, Columbus, Masonic Lodge, Circleville, Scottish Rite, Charleston, WV, Amvets and Pumpkin Show Parade Committee for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia Hughes and granddaughter, Patricia Wood. He is survived by his daughters, Cindy (Rick) Wood and Lisa (Frank) Merrill; grandchildren, John, Colin and Trey Merrill, Austin and Adam Wood; extended family, Kim Merrill, Margaret (Rick) Lemaster, Kyle and Clayton Brown. Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday January 9, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Chaplin Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will be 12:00 noon on Thursday at Mountain View Memorial Park, Charleston, WV., with Frank Thomas officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and 11-12 on Thursday at Living Faith Church, 9203 Ohio Ave. Marmet, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to Berger Hospice, 1170 N.
