Jack Vanover, 68 of Laurelville, died June 1, 2010 at Adena Hospital. He was born October 26 1941 in Vinton County, the son of James and Mildred (Yaple) Vanover. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Shirley and Laura Vanover; son, David Vanover and brothers, Carl, Donald and Billy Vanover. He is survived by his wife, Vicki (Adkins) Vanover; children, Brenda (Ernie) Cradlebaugh, Larry (Deanna) Vanover and Jack (Alida) Vanover, Jr., step-children, Dana (Bob) Quednau and Rick (Shamber) LaPlante; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Chester Vanover, Junior (Clara) Vanover and Jimmy (Eilene) Vanover; sister, Mary (Earl) Nelson; special niece, Brandy (Ken) Harrell and 1st. wife, Doris (Lemay) Ottenberger. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday June 4, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial will be in Pike Run Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
