Jacob “Jake” Paul Wiget departed this hunting ground to put his tree stand up in heaven. He was born January 18, 1943 to the late Leo and Hazel Wiget. On September 12, 1965 he married his partner in this life, Wyona Hill, who survives. Survived by four children that he passed his love of the outdoors to; Bryan (Amber) Wiget of Chillicothe; Andrea (Stephen) Gillenwater of Londonderry; Sara (Kent) Miller of Laurelville; and his hunting buddy, especially these last few years; Sam (Michaellena) Wiget of Laurelville. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers; Harry (Dorena) Wiget of MI, Raymond (Mary) Wiget of Kingston, sisters; Kay (Al) Houser of Kingston, Karen (Keith) Anderson of Kingston. Anyone who ever met Jake met a great outdoorsman and one of the best teller of tales to his buddies in the Liars Club. On Saturday, January 24th there will be family visitation at Wellman Funeral Home in Laurelville at noon. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Kingston.
