James Curtiss

James “Jim” William Curtiss, 58, passed away on January 18, 2013. Jim is survived by his parents, William and Ann (Chilton) Curtiss; sister, Amy Curtiss Davidoff; nephew, Robert Davidoff; niece Sarah Davidoff, of Cincinnati; 1 uncle and 3 cousins in Texas. He was born on December 25, 1954 in Circleville and graduated from Circleville High School in 1974. Jim was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Ashville. He was employed by the MHR Division of Elsea, Inc. Jim enjoyed many interests, including cooking, bicycling, gardening, yard work, movies, bowling and playing computer games. Jim was an extremely kind and generous man who will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., with calling at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Jack Jackson, Jr. will conduct the service. Internment will be in the family cemetery in Nashville, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6046 St. Paul Rd. Ashville, OH 43103.
