James H. Fosnaugh. Age 77, of St. Cloud, Florida died August 1, 2007 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. He was born April 13, 1930 east of Stoutsville, Ohio to the late Elma O. Fosnaugh and Thelma E. Shaffer Fosnaugh. He was a Korean Army Veteran with the 216th Chemical Service Company at Rocky Mountain Arsenal, Denver, Colorado and witnessed 8 Atomic Bombs at Nevada Proving Grounds, Mercury, Nevada. He was a banker for 29 years. He was a member of The First United Methodist Church, St. Cloud, Florida and a previous member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Circleville, Ohio. A charter member of the Circleville Sertoma Club. A member of the Masonic Lodge, Heber 501, Williamsport, Ohio. He was a member of the American Legions in Williamsport, Ohio. He was a life-time member of the Kissimmee Elks Lodge #1873 in Kissimmee, Florida. He served on the Pickaway Manor Nursing Home Board and treasurer for 5 years. He attended A.I.B. School of Banking and was a graduate of The Ohio School of Banking. He was employed by The Third National Bank in 1947. The Circleville Savings Bank in 1950. In 1954, he entered the grocery business with his brother at The East End Market. In May, 1962, the grocery business was sold and he became employed by The First National Bank (Bank One/Chase, Columbus, NA) as a teller and later as Vice President and Branch Manager, Williamsport Branch, Williamsport, Ohio. He retired from Bank One, May, 1985 and moved to St. Cloud, Florida where he resided for 22 years. He worked for The Supervisor of Elections Office, Kissimmee, Florida and retired after 14 years. He is survived by his wife, Wanda L. (Rase) Fosnaugh of St. Cloud, Florida; daughter, Lynda Kay of Springfield, Illinois; son, Jameson of Miami Beach, Florida; one sister, Geraldine Drum of Circleville, Ohio; sister-in-law, Marjorie Fosnaugh, of Circleville, Ohio; brother-in-law and sister-in-law John A. and Carol Rase of Hastings, Michigan and several nieces and nephews. Deceased brother, Kenneth F. Fosnaugh, and brother-in-law, Richard Drum. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Dr. Doyne Wiggins officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Stoutsville, Ohio. Family and friends may call at Wellman Funeral Home, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, August 6, 2007 with a Masonic Service to begin at 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Unit at St. John's Hospital 800 East Carpenter Street, Springfield, Illinois 62769.
