James Larkins, 87, of Leesburg passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2009 in Columbus.
He was born on April 25, 1922 in Fayette County to Frank and Ruby (Rowe) Larkins. He was a retired truck driver.
Mr. Larkins is survived by his children, William (Linda) Larkins of Kansas, Charles (Helen) Larkins of Norwalk, Richard (Jannie) Larkins of South Salem and John Larkins of Leesburg, one brother, Thomas Larkins of Idaho, 36 grandchildren and one special nephew Harvey Pierce of Leesburg.
Funeral services for Mr. Larkins will be held on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 11 a.m.in the Wellman-Kinzer Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Blaine and Pastor Tom Knoff officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. .
