James E. Leist, 80, of Circleville passed away on July 27, 2016. He was born on July 28, 1935 in Circleville to Gerald E. and Mary (Stout) Leist. He graduated in 1954 from CHS, 1952-1972 The Army National Guard, member of Heritage Nazarene Church, and Gideons. Jim & Helen were actively involved in missionary work, spreading the love of God and helping the less fortunate. Jim established Jim’s Pay & Save and served Pickaway and surrounding counties for over 50 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Helen (Leadingham) Leist and granddaughter; Madeline Call and sister; JoAnne (Leist) Cook-Keith. James is survived by his children; David Leist, Barbara Wilson (Eric) Morgan, Melissa Frailey-Call, grandchildren; Andrew (Kerren), Elizabeth and Tyler Wilson, Nicholas Morgan, Rebecca Frailey, Seth and Jenna Call and by sisters; Sally Cotton, Ruth Lee, Betty Chambers and Geraldine Puckett. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Heritage Nazarene Church. Burial will follow in Hitler Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wellman Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Wellman Funeral Home.
