James Lyons

James C. Lyons, 91, of Columbus, died on January 17, 2020 in Columbus.  He was born on October 4, 1928 in Langdale, Alabama, the son of J.H. and Argin (Coggins) Lyons.  He was an U.S. Army veteran.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Effie (Boggs) Lyons and daughter, Teresa Cunningham.  He is survived by his granddaughter, Ashley Jacinto and brothers, John Lyons and Frank Lyons.  Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday January 24, 2020 at World Harvest Church with Elder Bill Canfield and Elder Ed McKee officiating.  Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery.  Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.  Arrangements were completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.  Online condolences may be made at www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
