James Mapes

James F. Mapes Jr. 68 of Circleville died March 23, 2010 at his residence. He was born July 6, 1941 in Columbus, OH the son of James F. and Elsie (Eblin) Mapes. Jim was retired from Rich Products, former owner of Circle Valley Carpet and former member of Circleville Sertoma and the Pickaway County Horse Council. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Henrietta Mapes. Jim is survived by his wife, Mary (Pickel) Mapes, daughter, Kimberly (Terrence) Berrigan of Circleville, sons, Darrin (Crystal) Mapes of Baltimore and Christopher (Valerie) Mapes of Laurelville, grandchildren, Amber, Elizabeth, Austin, Adrian and Rylee, brothers, Richard (Sallie) Mapes of Pataskala, Marvin and Michael Mapes of Ashville, uncle, Denver (Eleanor) Mapes Jr. of Groveport and aunt, Paulyne Brooks of Florida. A memorial service will be Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 6:00 pm at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Family will receive friends from 5 – 6 pm at the funeral Home.
