James Osborne

James E. Osborne Sr., 88, of Circleville passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015. He was born on November 17, 1926 in Catlettsburg, Kentucky to Zephy and Stella (Bocook) Osborne. He was a WWII NavyVeteran, attended Thomas R. Brown High School, member of First Baptist Church, Pickaway Lodge #23 F&AM, BPOE Catlettsburg Kentucky, American Legion, VFW, Amvets, Eastern Star, Past President of Shrine and Ambassador Aladdin Shrine. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son; James Osborne Jr. in 2009, sister Pauline Wellman and brother; Paul Osborne. James is survived by his wife; Billie Jean (Ward) Osborne, daughter-in-law; Pam Osborne, 2 grandsons; Justin (Natasha) Osborne and James E. Osborne III and by 5 great grandchildren; J.T., Katelyn, Jared, Jackson and Anna, sister; Charalene (Larry) Hatten and by several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastor Billy Barbo officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m.
