James Shaffer, Jr

James Robert Shaffer, Jr., 62, of Circleville, died December 30, 2017 at OSU. He was born on May 22, 1955 in Ross County, the son of James and Janet (Seymour) Shaffer. He was a member of the Ohio County Militia Reenactment Group. He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his father, James R. Shaffer of Circleville; sons, James R. (Bethany) Shaffer, III of Wilmington and Justin R. (Kelsi Arbogast) of Circleville; grandchildren, Sophie L, Sawyer J. and Jayde L. Shaffer; sisters, Linda (Charles) Barker of Laurelville and Sandra (Gary) Strickler of Amanda; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday January 5, 2018 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Tarlton Cemetery.
