James Slonecker

James Robert Slonecker, 79, of Circleville, died November 13, 2012 at Pickaway Manor. He was born January 10, 1933 in Bellefontaine, the son of Carl and Freda (King) Slonecker. He was a U.S. Army veteran.and retired from City Loan. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Max Slonecker. He is survived by his wife, Ann R. (Rodgers) Slonecker; children, Sheila (Joseph) Stump, Sandra (Dennis) Williams, David G. (Elaine) Dunaway and Dale R. (Annette) Dunaway; 9 grandchildren, Heather, Jessica, Stephen, Melissa, Kyle, Steven, Stacy, Jason and Brian; 7 great grandchildren, Lia, Brandon, Ellie, Carter, Sydney, Tyler and Holly; 2 sisters, Phyllis Slonecker and Mary (Melvin) Yoder and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday November 16, 2012 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Graveside will be held at 1:00 p.m. in Springboro Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community United Methodist Church, 120 N. Pickaway St., Circleville, OH 43113 or Pickaway Twp.
