James Vanover

James Junior Vanover, 78, of Circleville, died July 7, 2010 at Riverside Hospital. He was born September 26, 1931 in Lawrence County, KY, the son of Rev. James and Mary (Hayes) Vanover. He was a U.S. Army veteran and member of Amvets 2246. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Carl, Jack, Billy and Don. He is survived by his wife, Clara (VanFossen) Vanover; children, Pastor Jim W. (Darlene) Vanover of Lancaster, Catherine Bartley of Chillicothe, Robert (Teresa) Vanover of Westerville and Vickie (Glen) Moore of Circleville; 9 grandchildren, Tracy, Jimmy, Jason, Jarrod, Jerina, Shawn, Angel, Lisa and Robert; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Jimmie Lee (Eileen) Vanover and Chester Vanover and sister, Mary (Earl) Nelson. Funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday July 10, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastor Phil Harris officiating. Burial will be in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association.
