Janet Newton

Janet Sue Newton, 62, of Williamsport, died April 13, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 8, 1949 in Meade, the daughter of David and Frances (Kinser) Marion. She was a 1967 graduate of Logan Elm High School. She began her working career at A&W Rootbeer Stand @ 56/22, Western Electric on E. Broad St.,Columbus, Arrow Molded Plastics/LDM of Circleville and YUSA in WCH. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gary Marion. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Johnny L. Newton; beloved sisters, Bonnie (Ronnie) Skaggs of Circleville and Peggy Baker of Georgia; children, Shawn (Theresa) Newton of Williamsport and Samantha (Chris Overly) Newton of Williamsport; grandchildren, Trevor Newton, Josh Wise, Dylan Newton, Mason Peart, McKenzie and Andrew Overly; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday April 19, 2012 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Springlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Eastern Star service at 8:00 p.m. The family requests no flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Adena Hospice, 111 W.
