Janice Rittinger

Janice E. Rittinger, 76, of Circleville died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, May 21, 2015. She was born on December 27, 1938 in Warrenton, Virginia to Clifton and Matilda (Shaver) Lunceford. She was a 1957 graduate of Warrenton High School, attended Crossroads Church, enjoyed church activities and family gatherings, was an avid reader and taught Sunday school for many years at Emmett Chapel Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers; Rosco and Lawrence Lunceford. Janice is survived by her husband of 57 years; Marvin Rittinger, sons; David and Doris (Koch) Rittinger, William and Lydia (Boldoser) Rittinger, Paul Rittinger, daughters; Elaine and Glen “Chip” Follis, Amy Poorman and her fiancé Tom Royster, grandchildren; Benjamin, Lindsay and Maggie Rittinger, Samantha and Mallory Rittinger, Seth Follis, Emily Rittinger, Nicholas (Kayla Martin) Poorman, Alex and Abbey Poorman, Brooklyn and Matthew Rittinger, great grandchildren; Kellin and Judson Poorman and by several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery.
