Jason Aaron Barker, 37, of South Bloomfield , passed away due to a heart attack on October 19, 2024. He was born on November 7, 1986 to Rick and Sue (Timmons) Barker in Lancaster, Ohio. He preceded in death by his grandparents Otis and Shirley (Inlow) Barker, aunt Kathy Townsend, cousin Rhett Bigham and great grandparents Thompson, Inlow and Conner. He is survived by his parents; grandparents Art and Marcella Timmons; his soulmate/best friend Lisa Brown; sister Megan (Luke) Seckman, nieces Lilly and Maddie and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He attended Logan Elm High School and Pickaway-Ross for autobody. Jason was always willing to lend a helping hand. At a young age he inherited the passion for working on cars from his mentor and best friend Papaw Art. Jason enjoyed going fishing, going to the Casino and watching Tennessee Vols. Football and playing baseball when he was younger. He formerly enjoyed volunteering his time as a Jr. Firefighter then graduated up to a Firefighter where he received the Hero of the Year and Firefighter of the year awards from Saltcreek-Tarlton Fire Department. Cremation has been observed and a memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
