J.C. Miller, 86, of Stoutsville passed away Monday, February 16, 2015. He was born on January 22, 1929 in Kentucky to Chester and Emory Mae (Davis) Miller. He retired from the United States Air Force having 20 years. He served during Korea and Vietnam. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother; Douglas Miller and sister; Susie Frances Nalley. J.C. is survived by his wife; Karen (Beckwith) Miller, children;Mary Kathryn Starkey and Carolyn Ann (Stephen) Davis, grandchildren; Jonathan Lee (Amanda) Miller, Jessica Marie (John) Laage, Melissa Erica “AJ” McPherson, Austin Andrew Starkey, great grandchildren; Isabella Laage and Gabriella McPherson, sister; Joan Morgan and by brother, Chester D. Miller. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home.
