Jean Sims

Jean A. Sims, 54, of Circleville, died November 17, 2010 at her residence. She was born November 30, 1955 in Lancaster, the daughter of Ramon and Jacqueline (Dennis) Bigham. She was a lifelong member of Laurel Hills United Methodist Church, she received her associate degree from Hocking College in medical transcription and worked at Adena Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Benjamin Bigham. She is survived by her husband, Gerald “Gary” Sims; children, Ashley (Adam) Ferguson of Lancaster and Bradley (Amy Martin) Sims of Circleville; grandson, Addison Ferguson and 1 on the way, Alex; brothers, Tim (Norma Jean) Bigham of Rockbridge, Jim Bigham of Columbus, Paul Bigham of Rockbridge and John Bigham of Kingston; nieces and nephews, Tom Bigham of Circleville, Elizabeth Sadler of Adelphi, Sarah (Justin) Bloomfield of Bitburg, Germany, Tim Bigham, Tiffany (Shawn) Moglone, Tabitha Bigham all of Logan and Betty Ann (John) Kochheiser of Rockbridge; great nieces and nephews, Tyler Jeremy, Jillian Elizabeth Grace, Ashton, Brookelynn, Grace Lynn and Miley and countless friends and traveling buddies. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday November 22, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Charles Reisinger and Thurman Glass officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
