Jeffrey Smith

Jeffrey Smith, 64, of Florida passed away on July 10, 2024.  He was born on June 15, 1960 in Circleville to Lawrence and Wilma (Adkins) Smith.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son Shawn Morrison; grandson Jason Hoop Jr. and by brothers Jeffrey Lawrence and Ernie Smith.  Jeffrey was an Army Veteran who loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids and enjoyed Putt Putt and classic rock music.  He was living his best life in Florida.  Jeffrey is survived by the love of his life who he dated at 15 years old and reconnected 26 years later Mary Jo (Hoop) Smith; children Jason (Amber) Hoop and Justin Morrison; grandchildren Layne, Layla and Justin Jr. Morrison and by sisters Tina (Woody) Alexander and Saundra Evans.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Huntington Township Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Friday from 11-1.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions maybe made to Mary Jo in Jeffreys name at 5/3 bank, c/o Wellman Funeral Home for unexpected expenses.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
