Jeraldine Routte, 90, of Laurelville died on Tuesday, July 1, 2014. She was born on November 3, 1923 in Hocking County to Hubert and Vivian (Seitz) Thompson. Jeraldine attended Mount Carmel Community Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Routte, son; Gary Hart, one grandson, sisters; Louise Clark, Velma Behmer, brothers; Dayton and Loring Thompson. Jeraldine is survived by children, Marlene (Glenn) Morrison of Lancaster, Rosella (Don) McNichols of Amanda, stepchildren, Billy (Mary) Routte and Sara Jane (Gayle) Kyle, sisters, Eunice Hart, Linda (Walter) Hettinger of South Bloomingville, Winifred (Kenny) Tatman of Amanda, Joyce Kline of Rockbridge; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren several nieces and nephews and by special friends, Jimmie and Eileeen Vanover andJack and Vicky Bentley. Funeral services Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial follows in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends call on Saturday 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
