Jerry R. “Jake” Herron, 69, of Circleville, died May 15, 2010 in Frankfort. He was born Apr. 24, 1941 in Pickaway County, the son of Russell and Helen Marie (Stout) Herron. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother Marie (Wilkins) Herron. Jake is survived by his wife, Caroline (Griffey) Herron, children, Jerry (Jennifer) Herron, Larry Herron, Helen (John) Campbell, Terrie (John) Rittenhouse and Caroline (Dave) Ramey all of Circleville, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brothers, Richard (Pat), Tom (Betty) and Ted Herron, sisters, Charlene Coates and Bev (Randy) Tatman, step-brother, Bernie Moats and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
