Jimmie Mowery

Jimmie L. Mowery, 74, of Williamsport, died November 23, 2010 at his residence. He was born October 13, 1936 in Ross Co. the son of John and Lila (Shaw) Mowery. Jimmie was a U.S. Army veteran, retired from John Deere with 42 years service and 50 year member of Heber Lodge #501. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dale and nephew Kelly Mowery. He is survived by his wife Verna J. (Lawson) Mowery, sons Jeff (Sheryl) Mowery of Williamsport, Jerry Mowery of Chillicothe, daughter Melissa Adams of Mt. Sterling; grandchildren Amy, Annie and Chase Adams and Hannah and Pierce Mowery; step-grandchildren Don (Melissa) Keller of Columbus, Jerimy (Holly) Huff of Williamsport and Stacy (George) Jones of New Holland; step great-grandchildren Jeremiah Jones, Max and Nate Keller and Keller Huff; brother Roger (Helga) Mowery of Springfield, sisters Carolyn Finch and Jennifer Mowery of Mt. Sterling and Pamela Hunt of Dallas, TX., sister-in-law Vonna (Dick) Everman, aunts Francis Moss, Mary Oesterle and Katherine Shaw, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and special friends John (Dora) Moss. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday November 30, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Ed Linville officiating. Burial will be in Springlawn Cemetery with military honors. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday with Masonic services at 7:30. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Ohio Diabetes Association.
