Jo Ann Caldwell

Jo Ann (Bandy) Caldwell, 74, of Ashville, went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2011 at Berger Hospital, after a long battle with cancer. Because of her heart was so full of love for the Lord, she earned a Doctorate Degree in Christian education from Country View College of the Bible. Jo Ann was a member of the Country View Baptist Church in Galloway, where her husband, Rudy was a pastor for 21 years. Jo Ann retired from General Electric and later retired from the Teays Valley School District in 2002 after 26 years of service. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Mary (Pennington) Bandy and her brother, Fred. Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dr. Rudy Caldwell, sisters, Mary L. Cremeans and Linda (Art) Taylor; brothers, George (Bonnie) Bandy all of Circleville and Clarence (Donna) Bandy of Ashville, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday April 2, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Ashville with Dr. Ralph Short officiating. Burial will be in Harrison Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home. Family requests memorial contributions may be made in her name to Berger Hospice or Pickaway Senior Center.
