Joan Conrad, 91, of Circleville, passed away October 31, 2021 at her residence. She was born on July 4, 1930 in Ashville, the daughter of Leonard and Anna (Martin) Gochenour. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Conrad; son, Lee Roy Conrad; daughter, Linda Butterbaugh; step-sons, John Conrad, Jr. and Jim Conrad; brother, Paul Gochenour and sister, Ellen Baker. She was Chaplain at VFW Post 3331 for over 25 years, where she was loved by everyone. She is survived by her children, Robert (Melinda) Conrad and Leonard Ray (Peggy) Conrad; step-daughters, Patty Surratt and Betty Hopkins; grandchildren, Mike Conrad, Miranda Brown, Chad Conrad, Jerred Conrad, Larry Davis and Galen Conrad; great grandchildren, Katie, Nicole, Makayla, Savanna, Chase, Trey, Avery, Emma, Kendra, Kaelynne and Azric and sister-in-law, Norma Gochenour. Funeral service will be held 12 noon, Friday November 5, 2021 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
