Joan Payne, 72, of Circleville, died February 1, 2007 in Select Specialty Hospital. She was born January 30, 1935 in Lancaster, the daughter of Renza and Maude (Graham) Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Payne; son, Walter E. Payne and 6 brothers. She is survived by her son, James R. (Mary) Payne of Lampasses, TX; daughters, Brenda R. (Mark) Knece of Circleville, Karen (David) Greeno of Lancaster and Angelia Payne of Circleville; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and sisters, Naida Anderson of Columbus, Vera Conrad of Circleville and Eleanor Payne of FL. Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday February 3, 2007 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
