Joann Shaw

JoAnn E. Shaw, 85, of Laurelville, died Oct. 28, 2011 in Lancaster. She was born September 29, 1926 in Perry County, Ohio, the daughter of William and Hazel (Weakley) Murdock. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Boyd Shaw, sister, Patricia Anders and brother, Donald Murdock. She is survived by her children, Nancy (Rollie) Hart, Michael J. (Cheryl Jane) Shaw and Thomas L. (Cheryl Anne) Shaw, 8 grandchildren, Rodney (Kelly) Hart, Mickey Hart, Melissa (Bryan) Tatman, Chris (Jenny) Shaw, Erin (Marty) Crosby, Megan (Ryan) Hudson, Amanda and Cole Shaw, 8 great grandchildren, Caleb and Lucas Haddox, Mallory Hart, Destiny, Christen and Jacob Shaw, Nash Crosby and Mack Hudson, sisters, Betty Murdock and Barbara (George) Bushee, brother, Bill (Marilyn) Murdock, sisters-in-law Jean Thress, Leila Shaw and Freda Shaw and brother-in-law, Gary Hart. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial will be in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call 4 - 8 p.m. Monday.
