Joe Don Curtis

Joe Don Curtis, 46, of Circleville, OH passed away May 22nd, 2024. He was born October 27th, 1977 in Chillicothe, OH to John Curtis and Goldie (Green) Holbrook. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Joe spent 20 years at Chillicothe Correctional Institution as a correctional officer and served honorably and with dignity.

Joe loved his family fiercely. He always wanted to provide for them and to be there when they needed him. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, going to his son’s baseball games, and smoking and grilling meat, usually before watching Ohio State football.

He is survived by his wife, Angel; his brothers Dave, Daryl, and Andy; his sister, Jonda; his daughter, Harley; his son John Garrett Curtis; his stepdaughters; Maddy, Rachael and Kyalynn; his stepsons JR and JD; his Grandchildren Sienna, Xade, Alex, Addy, Greyson, and Ophelia; father-in-law, Robert; special friends Ericka and Bill; numerous nieces and nephews and by his dog Delilah; and everyone else that was lucky enough to know him. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.  Cremation will follow.  Visitation will be from 1-5 on Tuesday.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Braves Bullpen Club 32 Miller Ave. Ashville, OH 43103
