John Godfrey, 82, of Washington Court House passed away on Friday, February10, 2012. He was born on February 23, 1929 to John and Inez (Hartley) Godfrey. He was a self employed Dance Instructor.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Kay Godfrey, Betty Massey, Jane Shoop and Lucille Sheridan.
Mr. Godfrey is survived by niece and caregiver, Nola (Marshall) Hutchinson, nephew, Bobby Sheridan and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Godfrey will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wellman-Kinzer Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-7. Burial will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Washington Cemetery.
