John Reed

John Reed, 79, of Circleville went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 14, 2015. He was born on April 9, 1935 in Yellowbud, Ohio to David and Sarah (Henry) Reed. He worked at Owens Illionis/Techna Glass and was the owner of Jr. Tires. John attended Circleville First Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings; Harold Reed, Mae Gosser, Della Seymour and Ferry Gulick and by special great granddaughter; Bryanna Holbrook. John is survived by his wife; Patricia (O’Dell) Reed, children; Deborah Davis, Peggy (Lindsey) Brown, Jim (Stephanie) Reed, grandchildren; Cleasha Holbrook, Jimmy John II, Jonathon, Sydney and Nick Reed, special great grandchild; Logan Holbrook, sister; Gloria ‘Dolly’ Wilcox and by several nieces and nephews. John loved old cars, the buckeyes, telling jokes and his dog Toto. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Ferrell and Jay Neff officiating. Burial will follow in Reber Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Berger Hospice.
