John Roberts

John Roberts, 85, of New Holland passed away on June 10, 2023.  He was born on March 14, 1938 in Louisa, Kentucky to John C. and Elsie L. (Griffin) Roberts.  He was an USAF veteran, retired from GTE and was a life-long farmer.  He graduated from Atlanta High School in 1956 and was a member of Heber Lodge 501 F & AM.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Bette Carfrey.  John is survived by his wife Marilyn (Gerhardt) Roberts; children John (Teri) Roberts, Charles Roberts, Duane (Karen) Roberts and Gary Roberts; grandchildren Carla (Greg) Rawlins, Donavin (Nealie) Farber, Chris (Megan) Farber, Taylor Roberts, Jerod Roberts, Audrey (Andrew) Luhmann, John (Renae) Roberts, D.J. (Gina) Roberts, Nick (Erika) Roberts, Ryan Roberts, Emily (Zac) Powers, Jordan Roberts and Justin Roberts and by siblings Bette J. Gibson and Jack V. (LiLi) Roberts.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Springlawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.  Memorial contributions can be made to PKD Foundation, PO Box 871847, Kansas City MO 64187.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
