John Z. Wilkes, 87, of Circleville passed away on May 11, 2022.  He was born on June 18, 1934 in Circleville to Charles W. and Addie M. (Ware) Wilkes.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor (Cupp) Wilkes, son James M. Wilkes and siblings Henry, Arthur, Robert, William Wilkes, Cecillia Hoffman and Alice Reed.  John is survived by his son Scott Wilkes and a sister Helen Quincel.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00.
